Featuring full Mr Whippy Soundsystem ice cream van show! ...2009's garden party was legendary, with 500++ outdoor dancers under the disco swirl - THE PARTY of the summer 2010 - Westport's own mini-festival, and admission is free!

These rare and occassional shows in McGings Westport have becoming the stuff of legend...and tend to get quite stuffed!...so arrive early, 'cos the last few shows in McGings packed out by 9pm.

Since his move from Dublin to the beautiful country town of Westport, record collector and selector Mr Whippy has been rocking his CHILL THAT MIND! parties: the west-coast of Ireland's version of Dancehall Culture on the Atlantic edge of Europe.

With the Mr Whippy Soundsystem - a funky 1970s ice-cream van converted into a deejay booth - Mr Whippy has been a regular highlight at various summer festivals around Ireland - deejaying from the back of his loveable, tropical ice-cream van, under the swirl of the world's only 2-meter high Ice-Cream-Cone Mirror Ball!
